The cost of your treatment will depend on the type of appliance you are fitted with and the complexity of your treatment. Some cases are more straightforward than others, while some require a significant amount of work.

Your first appointment

At your first free orthodontic consultation we’ll be able to advise you on the treatment you need, give you an indication of how long it will take and provide you with a no obligation quote so you’re informed about all aspects of your treatment. This consultation will be 45 minutes long with an optional x-ray at a cost of £45. The charge for the x-ray becomes free if you commit to treatment.

NHS treatment

Orthodontic treatment is available on the NHS for people under the age of 18 but there are strict criteria you must meet. Government regulations state orthodontic treatment on the NHS is only for patients who require treatment on health grounds. This is assessed on the Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN). The rules are the same across England and Wales and only patients with moderate to severe problems are accepted.

If your child has been referred to us by their dentist, we’ll assess any orthodontic problems they may have at their first appointment.

If your child does not fulfil the NHS criteria for treatment, we offer special discounted rates for children. Treatment fees can be divided over time and at no additional cost.

Private treatment

For patients who are taking up private treatment, the cost of treatment varies according to the brace you are fitted with, the complexity of your treatment and the duration. We provide flexible finance options, including interest-free payments for up to 24 months as well as ‘treat now, pay later’ plans making the process very affordable.
