Before & afters – spacing

Spacing refers to an excess of space that leads to gaps between the teeth – it is the opposite of crowding. When a number of teeth are missing, the movement in our jaw can change our ‘bite’. This means that pressure can be placed on existing teeth and over time, these teeth may be pushed out of place. Spacing issues can be treated using both fixed and removable braces by aligning teeth and bringing them together.
