The Sadiq Trust was founded by Dr Sadiq in October 2023 as a UK-registered charity with a clear purpose: to extend the principles that guide Orchard Orthodontics beyond clinical care.

Why The Sadiq Trust was founded

The Trust was created in response to a need that goes beyond dentistry. In several regions, particularly in West Africa, children with disabilities and special educational needs face limited access to structured education, facilities, and long-term support.

Rather than offering short-term donations, The Sadiq Trust focuses on building sustainable infrastructure - creating environments where children can access education, receive appropriate support, and develop with dignity.

This long-term approach mirrors the philosophy at Orchard: thoughtful planning, structured systems, and care delivered properly.

Education & specialist support

One of the Trust’s key initiatives is the development of a specialist school in The Gambia, designed to support children with additional needs.
